Jeff Marinko filmed a great white shark off the coast of Florida, 15 miles out of Sebastian inlet.
The shark is one of several juvenile great whites spotted off the coast of Florida this year.
Great whites of various ages have been filmed from the tip of Key West to the beaches of Panama City.
Mr. Marinko had another encounter in 2011. This time he was actually in the water at a depth of 170 ft.
This month OCEARCH will be tagging sharks on the Gulf side, in hopes of tagging a variety shark of species.
